Insurance & Coverage
Every rental includes liability protection (LP) for bodily injury and property damage. To cover repairs to the rental car and other costs, you can add the three coverage options below.
We recommend adding coverage, just in case.
Without coverage, you pay the full cost of repairing the rental car after an accident, which can be a large amount. With coverage, you pay much less.
Insurance included in your rate
Liability Protection (LP)
| Bodily injury | Per person | $100,000 |
| Per accident | $300,000 | |
| Property damage | Per accident | $50,000 |
Optional coverage
Only the CDW price depends on the car class.
CDW Collision Damage Waiver
Limits what you pay for repairs to the rental car (up to $50,000) to the $1,000 deductible.
ZDW Zero Deductible Waiver
Waives the $1,000 CDW deductible (CDW required).
NOC Non-Operation Charge Waiver
Waives the Non-Operation Charge ($250 / $400) after an accident.
Conditions for CDW
CDW covers collisions between two vehicles when both have a driver. A police accident report is required. If repairs cost $1,000 or less (the deductible), you pay the actual cost.
Costs after an accident
Non-Operation Charge
If the car needs repairs after an accident, you pay the amount below to cover part of our lost income, regardless of the extent of the damage or the repair time. It is waived if you have NOC.
| The car can still be driven and rented to the next customer | $250 |
| The car cannot be driven or cannot be rented to the next customer | $400 |
Accident processing fee: $150
If you have an accident, a $150 fee applies regardless of fault. It covers police reports, certificates for insurers, repair shops and other parties, and the related paperwork.
