Hafa adai!
This time, I want to introduce a popular local brand in Guam, Hafaloha. The name combines the Chamorro word “Hafa Dai,” meaning “hello,” with the Hawaiian word “Aloha.” The brand was born from the desire of the owner couple, who grew up in Guam and Hawaii, to create something that embodies both cultures.
The location is in Tumon, a bit away from the center, about a 10-minute walk. It’s situated in a commercial area with ample parking, making it convenient for those driving.
So, what kind of store is Hafaloha? It’s a shop that offers apparel fashion and shave ice. When you enter the store, you’ll first see a counter where you can order shave ice. In addition to shave ice, they have a variety of food items, including smoothies, soft serve, acai bowls, burgers, and poke bowls.
While waiting for your order, you can check out the apparel items lined up in the back of the store.
The colors and designs are perfect for beach time and active outdoor moments. The high functionality, which ensures comfort and ease of movement, is also a popular reason for its appeal.
In addition to cotton and dry-fit t-shirts and long-sleeve shirts, there are also hats, bags, beach towels, and cute stickers among the various accessories.
The ordered shave ice and acai bowl are ready. In the always-sunny Guam, you can enjoy cold sweets and drinks all year round.
Hafaloha’s apparel items make great souvenirs from Guam, and their food and sweets are perfect for lunch or snack time.
