Hafa Adai,
Micronesia Mall is a must-visit spot for most tourists coming to Guam. As the largest shopping center in the Micronesia region, it features everything from American department stores and outlet shops to local brands and specialty stores.
The mall also boasts a wide variety of dining options. The central food court offers around 20 different eateries, serving delicious meals and desserts. It’s especially bustling on weekends.
This time, we’re highlighting rest stops outside the food court. While the food court does have great spots like Boong’s Cafe, Chatime, and the newly reopened NIKI’S CAKE & TEA (as of April), this guide is for those moments during shopping when you think, “I need a break!” or “I just want to sit down for a bit.”
First up is Coffee Beanery, one of Guam’s long-standing coffee shops. There are two locations within the Micronesia Mall—one on the first floor near the men’s section of Macy’s, and the other on the second floor by Concourse 3, near the movie theater. As a well-established local favorite, it tends to attract more residents than tourists.
Right across from the Coffee Beanery near Macy’s is CINNABON, the famous American cinnamon roll chain. Their signature soft and chewy dough is seriously satisfying, and the drink selection is impressive as well.
Near the center court, you’ll spot Haagen-Dazs—a globally beloved ice cream brand. One of Guam’s four Haagen-Dazs locations can be found here. Enjoy their full menu, from parfaits to ice cream fondue and more!
Next to Haagen-Dazs is Naturally Nourished, a shop that specializes in fresh juices made from fruits and vegetables. It’s both tasty and healthy, a great option when you’re craving something light and refreshing. While Haagen-Dazs next door is tempting, this spot has its own charm.
Also worth checking out is EDIYA COFFEE, a popular Korean coffee chain that opened here two years ago. It’s located on the first floor in Concourse 1. Along with coffee-based drinks, they offer a wide selection of teas, juices, and unique Korean beverages not commonly found at other coffee shops in Guam. There’s also a good variety of food and exclusive EDIYA merchandise available.
Right across from EDIYA is Winchell’s, Guam’s beloved donut shop. Well-known among locals (especially older generations), it’s a go-to spot for a quick break with a drink and a donut. It’s also popular with tourists looking for a small snack or a sweet treat to bring back for the family.
Near the food court on the second floor, you’ll find ELEVENSES, a stylish café perfect for a relaxing break. Though the food options are limited, the quality coffee and cozy atmosphere make it an ideal spot to unwind.
Head past the food court toward the movie theater and you’ll come across TIGER SUGAR, the trendy Taiwanese brown sugar bubble tea shop. With its sleek black interior and rich, chewy tapioca pearls, it stands out from other drink spots. Their brown sugar drinks are especially worth trying!
Lastly, don’t miss COLD STONE on the first floor, right below the movie theater. Known for their rich ice creams and endless topping combinations, Cold Stone also offers a fun performance on their chilled stone slab while mixing your ice cream.
As you can see, Micronesia Mall is full of great places to take a break beyond just the food court. With so many rest spots throughout the spacious mall, you can shop with ease knowing there’s always somewhere to relax. Be sure to find your favorite spot and recharge for the second half of your shopping adventure!
